Rules
Scramble Format
1. Oak Glen: Men will play from WHITE tees, Women from RED tees. Willow Glen: Men will play from the WHITE tees and Women from the RED tees. Any order of play may be used.
2. All four players will drive off the tee, and EACH PLAYER’S DRIVE MUST BE USED THREE TIMES DURING THE ROUND.
3. After the best shot of the four players is selected, the other players will place his/her ball within one club length of where the selected ball originally lay, and play from this position.
4. This procedure continues until the team reaches the green. Once on the green, the team will mark the best ball to putt, and the ball may not be moved more than one club head. Each player then putts from that position - The score of the first ball holed, even if by mistake, will count and that ends the stroke play for that hole.
5. MISSING PLAYER: If your group is a threesome, each player, in rotation, shall play a second ball throughout the hole (i.e. Player #1 will play two balls on the first hole, Player #2 will play two balls on the second hole, Player #3 will play two balls on the third hole, etc.)
6. If a ball selected lies in the rough or in a tree or the like, it must remain in that lie.
7. Each team will receive 10 percent of the total combined handicaps of the foursome. All ties will be broken by matching score cards.
Tournament Awards:
Awards will be given to the first and second place foursomes in both the low-net category and low-gross category for each course for the overall tournament winners.
